Upstairs

Spread over a space of 4 original 19th century shop lots, Upstairs is a good looking space. The high ceilings give this huge space an artist feel, while the elaborate lighting and visual projections are complimented by a top notch sound system that offers early loungers deep and upbeat tunes. Late night clubbers will enjoy a faster tempo for some serious grooving.

The grandeur design of this space begins with an imposing doorway that opens to a lit stairway leading up to the club. Above, the club proper is split into three areas, starting with a darkened VIP room in one corner that looks out on an illuminated catwalk dance floor hybrid (think Saturday Night Fever in chic, muted colours). The club's central area is dominated by an island bar and dance floor that faces a raised DJ booth. And the other end, a collection of boxy, retro-futuristic couches line the side of the room, next to the entrance leading to a spacious veranda.

The stage area showcases a variety of live sets by musicians, blended with DJ performances for those that arrive before midnight. Our resident DJ One-D and his guest sessions feature a selection of music to compliment each night of the week. Nightly performances include a sophisticated blend of House Music, Tech House, a healthy dose of R&B and Disco Soul. Japanese food and pizza are also available from 9:00pm to 1:00am for those who crave a late night snack.
